Previous EISs

 
The proposed Arrow Canyon Solar SEIS would supplement the environmental analysis conducted for the original Moapa Solar Energy Center (MSEC) project. Analyses from the MSEC EIS would be incorporated by reference in the ACSP SEIS, where applicable. Below are links to the Final EIS for the original MSEC Project:

In addition, three other utility-scale PV solar projects on the Reservation have been recently evaluated in EISs. These three other previously evaluated solar projects on the Reservation include:

• K Road Moapa Solar Facility (K Road) - 350 MW PV solar project, Final EIS published in 2012, east-northeast of the ACSP, constructed and operating (BIA 2012)
• Aiya Solar Project (Aiya) - 100 MW PV solar project, Final EIS published in 2016, north part of Reservation, approved but not constructed (BIA 2016)
• Eagle Shadow Mountain Solar Project (ESMSP) - 300 MW PV solar project, Final EIS published in 2019, just north of the ACSP, approved but not constructed (BIA 2019)

The ACSP would in part occupy a different footprint than the previously evaluated PV solar projects on the Reservation, but the size of the previously analyzed facilities, their location, and many of the resources/uses evaluated would be similar. Analyses from these other previous resource investigations would also be referenced in the ACSP SEIS as appropriate.
